Every April Communities across the world come together to celebrate Vaisakhi. Vaisakhi took on special significance for the Sikh community in 1699, when the tenth Sikh Guru-—Guru Gobind Singh ji invited his disciples to join him in the city of Anandpur Sahib. At this gathering, Guru Gobind Singh ji formally established the Khalsa Panth . Thousands of people flocked to Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara, Gravesend On 12th April 2014 for Vaisakhi festival marking the Sikh New Year. Afterwards Performance By Malkit Singh MBE (Golden Star)
